RANGELEY – The Winter Carnival at Orgonon will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Conference Center at the Wilhelm Reich Museum on Dodge Pond Road.
During the festival, the public may choose to go on a snowshoe trek led by Bill Roy or enjoy the miles of trails at Orgonon for hiking and snowshoeing.

Revaluation meeting
READFIELD – Residents are invited to attend a meeting on the town’s revaluation project at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in Gile Hall.
The town contracted with Cole Layer Trumble Co. to complete a field data verification and property revaluation in January.
Representatives from the company will attend the meeting to discuss the project.
Property owners will be given an opportunity to ask questions of the appraisers concerning the processes to be followed.
The project is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 5, with values being disclosed to the public in early July.
Septic workshop
FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Soil & Conservation District will host a septic system installation workshop for contractors, code enforcement officers, licensed plumbing inspectors and site evaluations.
The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 :30 p.m. March 17 at the Granary on Front Street. The cost is $65.
