RUMFORD – Larry Smith, 53, died Wednesday, March 2, at his residence in Rumford.
Born in Rumford, Jan. 10, 1952, a son of Eugene and Theo (Styles) Smith, he was a graduate of Stephens High School in 1970 in Rumford, and Unity College in 1972.
He worked for Mead Paper Co. in Rumford.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by a sister, Patricia Schmitz of Amherst, N.H.
He was predeceased by a sister, Janice Schwind.
