FARMINGTON – Registration is being taken for Farmington Recreation Department’s third season of indoor soccer for boys and girls in grades three through five and for grades seven through nine. Sign-up will be held through Friday, March 4, at the Community Center on Middle Street.

Each child will learn the basic rules and skills of the game through controlled contests. The program will take place from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays at the Community Center.

Teams in the league will consist of boys and girls participating on a 10-player roster, to promote balanced competition and equal play opportunity. Serving as director will be Fred Conlogue, with assistant directors Tammy Conlogue and Evan Xanthos.

Regular season games will begin March 12 and continue to the playoffs on April 2 and 6 and the championship games on April 9.

A standard registration fee of $20 is charged to all players. An additional nonresident fee of $5 applies to those whose parents do not pay property taxes to the town of Farmington.
