LEWISTON – United Ambulance Service has donated a new Medtronic LifePak CR Plus Defibrillator to the Colisee to better serve spectators and employees. The defibrillator can be accessed quickly during the event of a cardiac arrest.
The new defibrillator is one of the most user friendly devices on the market. Fifteen Colisee staff members were trained and certified in American Heart Association heart-saver CPR, first aid and defibrillator usage on Jan. 15. The training was provided by United Paramedics Rielly Bryant and Scott Latulippe.
In addition, United donated a new first aid kit to be housed in the Colisee with the defibrillator.
