LEWISTON – Reinette L. Coulombe, 86, of Franklin Street, Rumford, died Thursday March 3, 2005, at Montello Manor in Lewiston, following a brief illness.
She was born in LaPatrie, Quebec, a daughter of Albe and Eva (LeBlond) Latendresse and received her education in the schools of LaPatrie Quebec.
She was employed for several years at Diamond Match Co. in Dixfield, and later at the Songo and Bass Shoe companies in Rumford.
She was a communicant of St. Athanasius and St. John Catholic Church.
Reinette enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, knitting, quilting, cross stitching and cooking.
She is survived by her children, a son, Ivan N. Coulombe and his wife, Sharon, of Kennebunk; five daughters, Claudette C. Carey and her husband, James, of Rumford, Marcelle Puiia and her husband, Larry, of Rumford, Caroline Gray and her husband, Stephen, of Kirkland, Wash., Denise E. Daigle and her husband, Brad, of Gorham, and Claire M. Patrick and her husband, John, of Rumford; two sisters, Cecile Hebert of Rumford, and Jeannine Poulin of Longueil, Quebec; two brothers, Yvon Latendresse and his wife, Jeannine, of Sherbrook, Quebec, and Hubert Latendresse and his wife, Solange, of Sherbrook, Quebec; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fernando Coulombe, in 1980; and by sisters, Lucette Goguen and Marielle Hamilton; and brothers, Norman, Gaston, Camille, Robert, and Berthold.
