• Vehicles driven by Roger G. Dumont, 68, and Deborah House, 34, both of Lewiston, collided at 10:15 a.m. Friday on Montello Street. According to a police report, the rear axle fell off Dumont’s car, causing him to lose control and collide with House’s vehicle. Damage to Dumont’s 1989 GMC was estimated at $3,000; to the 1997 Honda, driven by House and owned by Harold Martel, $1,800.
