PEJEPSCOT – Kathleen V. Colby, 76, of Main Street, died Friday, March 4, at her home.

From 1967 until 1995, Mr. and Mrs. Colby owned and operated Colby’s Market on Main Street in Pejepscot.

Surviving besides her husband of Pejepscot, are three sons, Ronald Colby and his wife, Mia, of Old Orchard Beach, Gary Colby of Palm Springs, Calif., and Scott Colby and his wife, Terry, of Belgrade; a daughter, Gayle Seaman of Minot; three brothers, Mike Chonko and his wife, Margaret, of Maryland, Emile Chonko and his wife, Joanne, of South Harpswell, and John Chonko and his wife, Lorraine, of Topsham; two sisters, Mary Aderhold and her husband, Jim, of Maryland, and Dottie Cardali and her husband, Edward, of Brunswick. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Kevin Colby, on Nov. 3, 1988 and a sister, Helen Hobbs.
