LEWISTON – Funeral services for Robert F. Griffin were held Saturday morning from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Reader J. Philip Rea who presided and recited committal prayers at Gracelawn Memorial Park. Following committal prayers the United States Coast Guard honors detail played Taps and presented our country’s flag to Mr. Griffin’s wife, Louise in recognition of her husband’s service to his country during World War II. A reception of fellowship followed the services at the Fireside Inn in Auburn. Pallbearers were Brian Moore, John Moore, Peter, Kyle, and Jared Grriffin as well as Richard Snowdale. Arrangements by the family-owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, 62 Spring St., Auburn.
