LEWISTON – Donald E. Withers Jr., 49, of Nichols Street, Lewiston, died at his residence on Friday, March 4.
He was born in Lewiston on March 19, 1955, the son of Donald and Anita Withers Sr. He was educated in Lewiston and Lisbon schools. He was employed in several jobs. Prior to its closing, he was employed at Supreme Slipper.
He was a member of the Lisbon Left Hand Club and The Derby Athletic Club.
He was married to Fern (Dubois) Withers. He was a loving husband and a great dad to Donnie. He was also a very loving brother, and very well liked by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Donald Withers III; two brothers, Kenneth Withers and his wife, Maryanne, and Daniel Withers and his wife, Brenda; six sisters, Beverly Walker, Marilyn Desmarais and her husband, Reginald, Gail Enman, Sandy Poulin and her husband, Maurice, Brenda Acevedo and her husband, Reinaldo, and Cindy Withers; and many nieces and nephews.
