On Wed., Feb. 2 the 8th graders at St. Peter & Sacred Heart School went to Groundhog Job Shadow Day at the City of Lewiston.

Brooks Noddin went with Paul Boudreau the Director of the Public Works. He walked around public works and was shown some of the machinery that they use.

Richard Paradis went with George Merrill the Fire Battalion Chief. He went with him and hung out around the fire station. He was shown the trucks and how they run.

Erynne Landry went with Heather Hunter. She sat in her office and she took inventory and looked at the budget Montello School also went to the Job Shadow Day. After we came back to city hall, we had pizza and we were shown a slide show about what we did that day.

We had fun and we would recommend other schools do this.

Participating students were: Matt Butler, Taylor Frazer, Alex Parker, Alex Carver, Sarah Turner, Gary Marston, Tim Wesinger, Abby Blaisdell, Anthony Nacri, Kelsey Kramarz, Sierra Strout, Cameron Marcotte, Richard Paradis, Brooks Noddin, and Erynne Landry. Teachers accompanying them were Barbara Adriance of Montello and Lori Rioux of St. Peter/Sacred Heart.
