WILTON – The March Wilton Community Forum breakfast with new Wilton Police Chief Wayne Gallant as speaker, has been rescheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the First Congregational Church, Main Street. The event is free and open to the public. A breakfast buffet will be provided.

Society meeting

NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard Historical Society will hold its first meeting of the year at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Historical Room. The topic will be Revolutionary War Captain Nathan Daggett. Copies of the log that he kept on his voyages will be shown, including one of the voyages to the Caribbean. All are welcome.

Daffodils available

FARMINGTON – During the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days from March 16 to 19 bouquets of 10 fresh daffodils will be available for $7 at the local Hannaford store while supplies last. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
