BANGOR – Cinderella will be meeting Oxford Hills at the ball, and her escort stands about 6-10 and wears about a size 15.

Junior center Jordan Cook dominated both ends of the floor to lead No. 9 Hampden Academy to a 55-34 win over No. 13 Brewer in the Eastern A semifinal at Bangor Auditorium on Friday night.

Cook finished with 14 points, while Blaine Meehan and Jay Uhrin added 12 apiece. Chris Wilson led Brewer (11-10) with 14 points.

Led by the 6-10 junior, Hampden (17-4) jumped out to a 10-0 lead to start the game and a 15-5 lead at the end of the first period. Cook had plenty of help, as Meehan, Uhrin and Josh McNutt stretched the defense with four first-half treys to give the Broncos a 26-11 lead at intermission.
