LEWISTON – Nancy Veronica (Stevens) Dugal, 70, passed away peacefully on March 8, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Auburn, on Nov. 30, 1934, daughter of the late Harold Foster and Hilda Johanna (Walsh) Stevens. She was educated in Auburn schools, and lived all of her life in the Auburn community.

She was employed with RCA Electronics, where she built circuit boards for many years. Throughout her life, she has been a member of St. Joseph’s Church, the AA for 25 years, the Women’s Wisdom Group, and a strong advocate of the Humane Society.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, painting, tap dancing, camping, and above all, spending time with her children.

She leaves her son, Michael and his wife, Cheryl Soucy, of West Gardiner; a son, Phillip B. and his wife, Liza McDougall, of Sabattus; a daughter, Kathleen Stahl and her husband, Alan, of Middleburg, Fla.; a daughter, Christina Beaulieu and her husband, Albert, of Belgrade; a sister, Carol Jean Hodson of Lewiston; a sister, Barbara Mason of Ohio; seven grandchildren, Zachary H. Tufts, Johannah O’Berg, Sarah Beaulieu, Rebecca Beaulieu, Jeremy M. Soucy, Jessica L. Soucy and Jonathon R. Hatch; and five great-grandchildren, Cloe K. Tufts, Kayliegh Anne O’Berg, Madisyn O’Berg, Mackenzie Christina Anne Harding and Shawn Soucy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Dugal; and her sister, May Elder.
