MONMOUTH – Harold and Jeannine Jones of Monmouth are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa S. Jones of Monmouth, to Nick S. Hamel of Auburn, son of Randy and Dawn Hamel of Monmouth.
Miss Jones is a 1998 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2004 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Southern Maine and is employed at Omnicare Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician.
Mr. Hamel is a 1999 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2003 graduate of Central Maine Community College with an associate degree in mechanical engineering technology. He is currently enrolled in the industrial technology bachelor’s degree program at the University of Southern Maine and is employed at Central Maine Community College as a resident director.
The couple plans to wed in September of 2006.
