LEWISTON – The wedding of April Lynn Leblond and Robert Lawrence Ray was held at noon on Jan. 15 at the Bates College Chapel. Kathy Arsenault, notary, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ray is the daughter of Leo and Pauline Leblond of Auburn. Mr. Ray is the son of Robert and Julie Ray of Minot.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white floor-length gown in halter style, adorned with pearls and sequins on the bodice and a long train with satin trim. She also wore a white veil with pearls and rhinestones and carried a bouquet of white roses.

Lori Bickford, sister, served as matron of honor and Sue Leblond, a sister-in-law, was bridesmaid.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Mark Ramsdell and Marc Leblond, brother of the bride, was usher.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Las Vegas, Nev. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed as manager at Rave at the Auburn Mall.

The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Oak Hill High School and is employed at Ramsdell and Sons Construction in Hebron.
