LISBON FALLS – Michael S. Jordan, local author/illustrator of the eight-part comic book series titled “The Parverian Tales,” will work with teen patrons, age 11 to 15, on their individual artwork from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, in the Lisbon Falls Library Children’s Room.
Jordan will discuss his comic book series, the process for becoming published and the development of comic book art and characters. Patrons will need to bring their artwork and supplies, and any ideas they may like to develop. Jordan will provide individualized assistance. He will bring copies of his comic books for signing and purchasing.
Because of the one-to-one nature of the workshop, space is limited to fewer than 10, so preregistration is required. Call the Lisbon Falls Library at 353-6564 to register and to obtain additional information.
