AUBURN – Lost Valley Ski Area will participate in a welcome home activity for active military personnel that have and/or are returning from missions overseas.
On Saturday, March 26, Lost Valley will recognize returning soldiers and their immediate families by extending a free half-day of skiing or riding and half day of rental equipment. Volunteers will be on hand to accommodate the families with a free lesson if necessary.
Anyone who would like to join the families on the slopes will have reduced tickets of $10 and the same for rental equipment for the half day visit.
Lost Valley challenges community merchants and businesses to help decorate the access road to Lost Valley Ski Area to the top of the mountain. Anyone wishing more information should call Diane Moreau or Connie King at 784-1561.
