PORTLAND – Sean M. Carter has been named a vice president in the eCommerce Development Department at TD Banknorth Inc. in Portland. A business consultant, he will continue to be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online business strategies for various lines of business at TD Banknorth.

Carter joined TD Banknorth in 1997 and has eight years in banking. He previously served as a call center supervisor, management trainee and a workforce analyst. He serves as newsletter editor for the Maine Masters Swim Club

A Gray resident, Carter is a 1998 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
