LEWISTON – Androscoggin Chapter 4077 of AARP will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday, March 21, at the Multi-Purpose Center. The board of directors will meet at 12:30 p.m.
The speaker will be Anita Wiles, who has been employed for 22 years by SeniorsPlus, the local Area Agency on Aging. SeniorsPlus provides information on various issues and programs, which are important to seniors.
Wiles, LSW, will provide information on Medicare Part D, the first of its kind Medicare prescription drug benefit scheduled to begin on Jan. 1, 2006; the Medicare drug discounts available now; and the fraud in the system. She will also be available to answer questions.
Members are encouraged to attend and guests are welcome. Attendance and pot of gold drawings will be held and refreshments will be served.
