HARRISON – Elizabeth Louise Wakefield, 80, of Deertrees Road, died at her residence on March 17.

She was born in Stoneham on Feb. 7, 1925, the daughter of Albert E. and Martha A. (Emery) Adams and was educated in Stoneham schools.

She married Arthur Wakefield Sr. on May 22, 1943. He died in 1998.

She worked in the family wood mill for 30 years.

Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with the Harrison Recreation Department.

She is survived by one daughter, Ann Louise Smith of Weleska, Ga.; three sons, Everett Albert Wakefield of Harrison, Arthur G. Wakefield Jr. of South Paris, and Keith Earle Wakefield of Oxford; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband; two sons, Bernard and Rodney; and one sister, Jeannette Hill.
