NORWAY – Grace A. Hamlin, 71, of Norway, died Wednesday, March 16, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Norway on Sept. 21, 1933, the daughter of Waino and Ethelyn Damon Kyllonen.

She was employed at local shoe shops and at General Electric Co. She operated a foster home for many years. She enjoyed bingo, knitting and crocheting.

She married Dana H. Hamlin on Jan. 24, 1953. He passed away on Aug. 14, 1993.

She is survived by five children, Pam Shannon of Hawaii, Zoe May of Turner, Debra Billings of Poland, Dana of Texas, and Kevin of Norway; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Kyllonen, of South Paris.
