LEWISTON – UnitedKingfield Bank staff presented a $1,000 gift to the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice Journey of Hope Campaign for the new hospice house.

“UnitedKingfield Bank applauds the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice commitment to providing resources to those in need,” said Ray Teixeira. “We are proud to assist AHCH during this critical time and encourage others to join us in supporting this vital community service.”

The 14-patient suite facility is specially designed to care for the needs of patients in the final weeks of life when hospice care at home is no longer possible. AHCH will welcome the first patient this fall. To date, the Journey of Hope Campaign for the hospice house has received support from more than 1,390 individuals, foundations, businesses and civic and fraternal groups.

“We want to thank UnitedKingfield Bank for their support of the Journey of Hope Campaign for the new hospice house,” said David McDaniel, president/CEO. “Their commitment to the project will help us bring this needed resource to the community.”
