MINOT – Anita (Dill) Dostie, 60, died peacefully at home in the loving care of her daughter, Darlene, on March 20.

She was born in Gardiner, on April 28, 1944, daughter of Ralph and Dorena (Gagne) Dill. She grew up in Farmingdale, and graduated from Gardiner High School, Class of 1962. She also attended Beauty Culture School in Augusta.

She was employed with Clover Health Care Nursing Home for many years where she worked as a supervisor. Collecting anything and everything was one of her hobbies, along with shopping, gardening, and quarter slots; but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her parents, Ralph (Duddy) and Dorena Dill of Farmingdale; a daughter, Darlene Dumont and her husband, John, of Minot; a son, Steven Dostie of Minot; a sister, Peggy Pare, and her husband, Albert, of Bath; five grandchildren, Vanessa, Josh, Jill, Heather and Amber; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, James J. Dill on July 4, 1997.
