AUBURN – The Auburn Youth Hockey Peewee Travel Team earned a victory and tie in recent action. Auburn and Bangor skated to a 1-1 deadlock as goalie Cody Violette made 15 saves. Tim Millett scored the lone Auburn goal, assisted by Isaac Reed and Jordan Haskell. Millett and Haskell each popped a goal as Auburn blanked Casco Bay 2-0. Cody Russell and Brenden Giambra drew assists. Violette goaled the shutout, stopping 15 shots.

Junior Eddies win

AUBURN – Billy Brewster collected 5 goals and 5 assists to lead the Junior Eddies to a 14-0 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in the Southern Maine Middle School Hockey League.

Matt Reed and Shawn Hird also registered a hat trick. C.J. Bergeron added 2 goals and Tyler Babb also lit the lamp. Others drawing assists were Bergeron (2), Reed (3), Hird, Babb (2), Tim Millett and Mat Gordon.
