LEWISTON – Police arrested two Massachusetts men Tuesday an hour after they reportedly took $600 in cash from two local women.
Mark Crump, 33, of the Dorchester section of Boston, and Glenn Lawson, 42, of Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood, were charged with robbery in connection with an incident that occurred 8:27 p.m. Monday on Horton Street. Police said there was evidence of forced entry.
The men apparently fled the women’s apartment after taking the money, police said.
Lawson was also charged with domestic violence assault and criminal threatening stemming from an unrelated incident, police said.
Both men were held at the Androscoggin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, police said.
