For the past several weeks, I have been watching the deterioration of the River Valley section of the Sun Journal. The March 21 edition was the worst.
The River Valley section has had news of Auburn, Oxford Hills and now Minot, and hardly any from the River Valley area. While I read the entire paper, and am interested in news from our entire region, I have come to expect that the River Valley section should have news of that region.
On March 21, not only was there not any, but those articles that were on the River Valley section front were not even complete.
Several items listed for appearance on page B2 were nowhere to be found.
Certainly, there must be some newsworthy events that happen in this area that could be included. Many of our local events have not appeared at all.
As an advertiser hoping to attract business from the River Valley, I am hoping that this may improve so that the readers will have a reason to look at a true River Valley section and see my ads.
