NORTH PORT, Fla. – The wedding of Patricia (Pat) Foster and Bruce E. Hodgkins was held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 15 at the North Port Community United Church of Christ in North Port, Fla. The Rev. Evan Farrar officiated at the wedding.

The bride was accompanied to the altar by her son, Douglas James Foster. Suzanne Milliman, daughter of the bride, acted as her mother’s matron of honor.

A long-time friend of the bridegroom, Ellsworth Crocker of Farmington, served as the bridegroom’s best man. Readers during the ceremony were the bridegroom’s daughter, Rebecca Grove, and the bride’s daughter-in-law, Carrie Foster. Doug and Carrie Foster and Suzanne and Ronald Milliman sang for the service. Harmony Collage, a double quartet in which the bridge sings, also presented two musical offerings. Peggy Schaeffer, organist, and Pat Prentzel, pianist, played several duets. Bethany and Jenna Milliman, eight-year-old twin granddaughters of the bride, also participated by bearing bubble baskets.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Harbor Cove Community Center. Mr. and Mrs. Hodgkins will enjoy a honeymoon cruise in May. They are residing in North Port, Fla., and look forward to visiting with friends in the Farmington area some time in July.

The bride is executive director of the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce in North Port, Fla. The bridegroom is from North Port, Fla. and Farmington.
