LEWISTON – Beverly A. McDonald, 73, a resident of Main Street, Jay, died Friday, March 25, at the d’Youville Pavilion where she was a patient.

She was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Jay, the daughter of Archie and Lillian (Powers) Richards. She attended school in the Canton Schools.

She married Maurice McDonald on March 11, 1966. She worked as a shoe shop worker at Livermore Shoe, Norwalk Shoe and Bass Shoe, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed spending time with her family and bingo was her love.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Maurice, of Jay; three daughters, Debra Grover of Lewiston, Tanya Grover of Danbury, Conn.; and Brenda Maberry and her fianc, David Locke of Livermore; a son, Kenneth McNeil of South Paris; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Reginald Richards and his wife, Gertrude, of Livermore Falls, Gerald Richards and his wife, Marlene, of Livermore Falls, Horace Richards from Lewiston, and Gary Richards; two sisters, Diane Bonito and her husband, Anthony, of Lewiston, and Faye James and her husband, David, of Farmington, N.H.

She was predeceased by a sister, Arlene White; a half-sister, Beatrice Ellis; and a half-brother, Raymond Richards.
