Dear Sun Spots: Trinity Jubilee Center will host an Empty Bowls Project to benefit its Lewiston soup kitchen on April 24 at the Unitarian-Universalist Church on Pleasant Street in Auburn. The Jubilee Center serves more than 35,000 free meals every year, inviting anyone who is hungry.

At an Empty Bowls Project, local artisans and students donate ceramic bowls, which are purchased by attendees and filled with soup from generous local restaurants. All the money raised goes to Trinity Jubilee Center’s soup kitchen operations.

We need ceramic soup bowls. Would any of your wonderful Sun Spots readers be willing to donate a hand-made ceramic bowl to this project to help feed our hungry neighbors?

They may contact us at (207) 782-5700 or e-mail us at [email protected]. Each donor will be acknowledged in our program. Thanks for your help. – Jean Austin, executive director, Trinity Jubilee Center.

Dear Sun Spots: You provide such a wonderful service and you helped me before, which I could not thank you enough.

To cut to the chase, I would like to obtain a parts list and service manual for a Frigidaire dishwasher, under the counter, Model MBD222rbho. Or maybe if I had the address of the company it would suffice. Thanking you in advance and God bless. – Paul Cavanaugh, Buckfield.
