FITCHBURG, Mass. – Loretta R. (Leclair) Dupuis, 90, of Fitchburg, died on Friday, March 25, at Birchwood Care Center, Fitchburg, Mass.

She was born in Lac Megantic, Canada, and was raised and educated in Lewiston. She had lived in Lawrence for many years before moving to Fitchburg two years ago.

Before retirement, she had worked at the former Western Electric Co., North Andover.

She was a former member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Lawrence, and was a member of The Telephone Pioneers of America. She had also worked as a lunch lady at The Kane Junior High School in Lawrence.

She loved to oil paint.

The widow of Louis J. Dupuis, her family members include her four sons, Denis and his wife, Claudia Dupuis, of North Andover, Mass., Donald and his wife, Evelyn Dupuis, of Pepperell, Mass., Pierre and his wife, Shirley Dupuis, of Raymond, N.H., and Louis and his wife, Dorothy St. Hilaire, of Sabattus; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
