The city of Lewiston and postal service should have a system in place to do what is right for poor senior citizens in the winter for clearing the snow and also for the taxes-paying property, too.
My driveway and step porch were open, but nobody brought my mail for a week. I had to go and get it at the post office twice. What a mess of mail I had. I’m still looking at it now.
I’m a old lady, 80 years old. I did a lot of shoveling this year. I don’t think I will next year. How is it that I had my Sun Journal every day. Why not the mail?
The old saying was that the mail must go through. Ha! I lived in the country before I came to Lewiston. I always had my mail. There must be a way for the postal service to come through.
