RUMFORD – Russell Angus Mawhinney fell asleep in death Monday, March 28.

He was born in Rumford on Nov. 13, 1948.

He leaves behind his mother, Virginia; his wife of 35 years, Gini; his brother, Tom; his children, Chris Campbell, Jessica Curtis, Angus, Rachel, Max and Luke; his favorite son-in-law, Joel Curtis; two grandchildren, Zoe Campbell and Dallas Curtis; and his pup, Peanut.

He will be sadly missed by many. He was predeceased by his dad, George “Bud.” He would like to be remembered for his zeal in God’s service as an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
