AUGUSTA – Samantha DePoy, a native of Farmington, has been hired as an account coordinator at Nancy Marshall Communications’ Augusta office.

In addition to writing press releases and Web content, DePoy will serve as the company’s in-house photographer. She assists fellow members of the NMC team with research, copywriting and special projects.

DePoy has served as a staff writer for the Rangeley Highlander and the Lewiston Sun Journal. She was the youngest newspaper editor in the state while heading up the Livermore Falls Advertiser, a weekly newspaper based in Livermore Falls.

An English major at the University of Maine at Farmington, DePoy has been designated as a Guy P. Gannett Scholar by the Maine Community Foundation each year since 2002.
