AUBURN – Alicia A. Henderson and Philip F. Chapman III were married on Oct. 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Auburn Riverwatch.

The bride is the daughter of Ernest A. Henderson of Kenai, Alaska, and Kathleen Tappan of Winthrop. The bridegroom is the son of Philip and Jeanette Chapman Jr. of Winthrop.

Sonja Mai was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Rebecca Babkiewicz, sister of the bridegroom, and Angela Chapman, Amy Krug, J. Anna Jabbusch and Stephanie Pelkey. Flower girl was Taylor Silver of New Hampshire.

Thomas James Meiser was best man and ushers were Merton Blood, Geoffry Cobb, Eron Gray, Stephen Groves and Chad Hamlin. Ring bearer was Austin Barksdale of Florida.

A reception was held at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Mrs. Chapman is a graduate of Kenai Central High School in Kenai, Alaska, Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology, and a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she received a master’s degree in teaching and learning. She is employed by MSAD 52 at Leavitt Area High School in Turner.

Mr. Chapman is a graduate of Winthrop High School in Winthrop and Maine Maritime Academy, where he received a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Coast Guard license. He is employed by the Greenville Steam Company in Greenville.

The couple traveled to St. Lucia for their honeymoon and they are residing in Greenville.
