Isn’t it strange how things change. A recent article in the Sun Journal indicated that the city of Lewiston was late in its first payment of $25,000 to Roger Theriault, the previous owner of the Colisee (March 25). Although the city has now made the payment, Roger, in the interim, had exercised his right to call in the note by filing a complaint in Superior Court.

Isn’t it ironic that that is exactly what the city did to Roger when it called in his note. Mr. Bennett says that he hopes “we can get this resolved,” but he did not give Roger the same opportunity.

What goes around comes around.

So I say to Mr. Bennett and the city of Lewiston: Pay Roger Theriault the entire amount due him and move on. You’re in the big leagues now.
