BETHEL – John and Norma Simpson of Portland and Florence and Andre Bernier of Bethel are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Wendy Ann Simpson and Jerry Paul Bernier.
Miss Simpson is a 1994 graduate of Deering High School and received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maine at Farmington. She also received her master’s degree in teaching from the University of Maine at Orono. She currently teaches English at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris.
Mr. Bernier is a 1997 graduate of Telstar High School and received his bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from Maine Maritime Academy. He currently operates his own business, Bernier’s Concrete.
The wedding is planned for July.
