TURNER – Ben Alpren Machine has captured the regular season championship in the Leavitt Area Men’s Basketball League.

The Machinists finished with a 12-2 record. Dubord Realty/Ranor was second with an 11-3 mark.

Playoffs begin April 5 at Leavitt Area High School, as follows: 7:00, (2) Dubord/Ranor vs (7) Lake City Exports (Shooters work as refs); (3) Ruff Riders vs (6) Sturtevant & Ham Insurance (Lisbon Road works); 8:30, (1) Ben Alpren Machine vs (8) Shooters (Winner game 1 works); (4) Fitness World vs (5) Lisbon Road Animal Hospital (Winner game 2 works).

GORHAM – Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) will conduct its state and invitational tournaments, as follows: April 9-10 and 16-17, Boys Grades 4-5; April 30, May 1, 7, 8, Boys Grades 6-11, and Girls Age Groups 14U-17U.
