RUMFORD – Expressive Movement Performing Arts Center Inc. will sponsor a jazz/hip-hop dance workshop for dancers ages 6 to adult on Saturday, April 16, at Mountain Valley High School.
The educational workshop will feature New York City choreographer Dena Rizzo. Rizzo and her students have appeared in movies, television commercials and MTV and VH-1 music/dance videos.
Rizzo teaches cutting edge high-energy master dance classes and seminars throughout the country that fuse hip hop and break dancing as well as a technique that she has created. Those wanting more information can visit www.Dancerizzo.com.
Other featured choreographers will be Jade Dunn and Noah Berman, choreographers and dancers from the Bowdoin College Dance Program, and jazz dance company, VAGUE.
