Fund-raiser

RUMFORD – The Black Mountain of Maine ski patrol hosted a fund-raiser featuring hot wings, ski demonstrations, a silent auction, 50/50 drawing and live music on March 19. Chris Dickson, Jeff Gallant, Gary Petrie and Matt Bell organized the event.

The patrollers also organized a silent auction that was held throughout the night and they raised additional funds. A pair of Fischer race skis went for more than $300.

Julie Dickson sold 50/50 tickets, raising just over $200, with the second draw winning alpine tickets and third getting tubing tickets.

The live music was performed by a local group, the Hooligans.
