Why are we so caught up in the death culture? We need not go along with agents of death. We have been endowed by the creator with free will. We can do good or evil. Whatever we choose brings consequences for good or evil.

Every life is sacred, precious, unique. The gifts and talents we are given by the Lord are to help humanity as a whole, not for our own profit.

Just someone’s presence can be very consoling, thus one need not feel alone. We are all here on Earth to give of ourselves.

Trees give their shade, fruit and sap and wood for furniture, homes and paper. Everything in nature is there as a gift to us all in one form or another.

Humans give us music, laughter, healing and teaching. We are a blessing to each other.

So why are we so caught up in the death culture, which would deprive all of us of the special gifts that each could have shared with us all?

All of creation is the Lord’s gift to us, like many presents under a Christmas tree. By living a culture of death, we tell the Lord that we do not want his gifts.

By ruining creation, we are ruining our own ecosystems that may no longer sustain life. What will we do then?
