Vehicles driven by Janet E. Brennick, 40, of Kimball Avenue, Mexico, and James L. Poirier, 34, of Gammon Road, Peru, collided at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at River Road and the Veterans Memorial Bridge. The 1988 GMC pickup truck driven by Poirier also bumped into a 2000 Kenworth tractor-trailer truck owned by E.J. Carrier Inc. and driven by Randall W. Enman, 70, of Dixfield. Brennick’s 1996 Dodge sedan was destroyed. Neither Brennick nor a passenger, Christopher Brennick, 18, were injured. Poirier’s truck sustained $4,000 in damage. Neither Poirier nor a passenger, Diane Poirier, 16, was injured. The tractor-trailer truck was not damaged and Enman was not injured.
