GARDINER – The Oxford Hills Business Development Network will host a Maine Technology Institute overview workshop April 22 at the Western Maine University and Community College Center in South Paris.
Led by Joe Migliaccio, MTI Development Award program manager, and MTI federal award consultant Karen West Morgan of C&P Management, it will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The institute offers programs that fund innovative research and development technology based projects that lead to commercialization. People can learn about eligibility for a $10,000 Seed Grant, a $500,000 Development Award, or a $200,000 Cluster Enhancement Award. The institute also provides federal Small Business and Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer award technical assistance as well as commercialization assistance to help people get their innovation to the market.
