WALES – On March 15, Lakeside Chapter 60, OES, elected Elizabeth Leighton and Stanton Leighton to be their worthy matron and worthy patron for the 106th year on March 15.
Also elected were Cynthia Holbrook, associate matron; Rodney Woodrum, associate patron; Violet Gerber, secretary; Clarinda Andrews, treasurer; Lucille Bauer, conductress; and Sonia Woodrum, associate conductress.
The worthy matron appointed the following: Edward V. Webber, grand chaplain, as chaplain; Wallace Wright, marshal; Ruth Wheeler, Adah; Phyllis Hall, Ruth; Doris Babbidge, Ester; Arlene Witherell, Martha; Rowena Wright, Electa; Jordan Witherell, warder; and, Yvonne Winslow, sentinel.
A closed installation of officers will be held on the regular meeting night, Tuesday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wales Masonic and Grange Hall.
The installing suite will be Corley Ann Byras, grand secretary and installing matron; Robert M. L. Cone, past grand patron, installing patron; Betty Perkins, installing marshal; Edward F. Webber, grand chaplain, installing chaplain; and Eleanor V. Peterson, grand organist, installing organist.
Light refreshments will be served after the meeting.
