BETHEL – Members of the New Choral Collective will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Bingham Hall at Gould Academy.

The New Hampshire group’s concert is titled “Songs in the Key of Love.” One of the songs of a romantic nature will be “Five Hebrew Love Songs,” Eric Whitacre’s setting of five short poems by Hila Plitmann, his girlfriend in 1996 and now his wife. The NVC, accompanied by Hilary Jones on flute and Judy Herrick on piano, will also perform René Clausen’s setting of a Robert Burns poem, “My Luve’s Like a Red, Red Rose.”

Also on the program will be two pop songs: “I’ll Be Seeing You,” a World War II classic, and “Java Jive” from the early 1940s.

Tickets are $10 for adults at the door. Admission is free for students.
