LEWISTON – South of the Border is the playoff champion in the B-1 Division of the Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League.

The Southies entered the double-elimination playoffs as the No. 2 seed, having finished behind No. 1 Bangkok Garden during the regular season. In opening playoff action, the No. 2 entry defeated No. 6 General Electric, 21-19, 23-21. Last week, South of the Border and Bangkok clashed in the winners’ bracket with the Southies capturing a thrilling match, 20-22, 21-18, 22-20.
