LEWISTON – The wedding of Jennifer Lee Barefoot and Jason Tyler Soldner was held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 1 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. The Rev. Robert Lariviere officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Soldner is the daughter of Daniel and Rebecca Barefoot of Lisbon. Mr. Soldner is the son of Steven and Annette Soldner of Fond du Lac, Wis.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Cathedral length gown adorned with pearls and sequins on the bodice, off the shoulder, with long sleeves. A rhinestone tiara supported her Cathedral length veil and she carried a cascade of white roses, burgundy miniature carnations and alstrimaria.

The sister of the bride, Heather Barefoot, was honor attendant and bridesmaids were Mary and Holly Soldner, sisters of the bridegroom. Jenna Soldner, sister of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Joel Soldner served as best man for his brother and usher was Chuck Willard, friend.

A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, after which the couple went on a Caribbean cruise. They are residing in Lisbon.

The bride is attending the University of Southern Maine to complete her degree in social and behavioral sciences. She is employed as service leader at Hannaford in Topsham.

The bridegroom is attending the University of Southern Maine to complete his degree in accounting. He is employed as a meat clerk at Hannaford.
