NEW VINEYARD – Wayne Herbert Drake and Abigail Ruth Field are announcing their engagement.
Mr. Drake is the son of Randall and Jill Bates of New Vineyard and grandson of Birdena Hardy of Farmington and the late Harold Hardy, the late Lester and Eleanor Drake, and stepgrandson of Herbert and Lucille Bates of Hermon.
Miss Field is the daughter of Harold and Katharine Field of New Vineyard and the granddaughter of Anna Field of Dexter and the late Clifton Field, Eleanor Dewald of St. Louis, Mo., and the late Robert Atkins of Rochester, N.Y.
They are both graduates of the Open Bible Baptist Christian School and are employed at the Bangor Savings Bank in Farmington.
A June 4 wedding at Open Bible Baptist Church is planned.
