JAY – Barb McClay of York, Pa., and Rob Smith of Ephrata, Pa., proudly announce their engagement.

Miss McClay is the daughter of Frank and Beryl McClay of New Castle, Pa. She is a graduate of Union Area High School, Geneva College and Clarion University, where she earned a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders. She is a speech/language pathologist with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, working within the Dallastown Area School District.

Mr. Smith is the son of Don and Jane Smith of Jay. He is a graduate of Livermore Falls High School and Eastern Nazarene College. He plans to graduate in May with a master’s degree in church management from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. He is a youth pastor at the Ephrata Nazarene Church.

The wedding will be held on May 21 at the Ephrata Nazarene Church in Ephrata, Pa.
