RUMFORD – Michelle Dee Snyder, 48, died April 6, in Johnson City, Tenn., following a lengthy illness. She had lived in the Mexico area most of her life.
Born in Rumford, on June 18, 1956, she was a daughter of Edwin and Irene (Ferrin) Provencher. She attended Mexico schools and was formerly employed by Mead Paper Co., in Rumford.
She is survived by her parents, Edwin and Irene Provencher of Byron; her husband, Charles Snyder, of Tennessee; son, Eric Marston of Mexico; daughter, Genevieve Marston of Mexico; three brothers, Maurice Provencher of Newport News, Va., Edwin Provencher of Clinton and Robert Provencher of Monroe, Mich.; six sisters, Martha Boudreau of Byron, Deborah LaChance of Chelsea, Marlene Willey of Waterville, Naomi Duff of Pittston, Stephanie Proctor of Benton and Daphne Williams of Erie, Mich.; four grandchildren, Samantha Marston, Tyler Pingree, Justin Marston and Gracie Ann Marston, all of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Susan Todish.
