ORONO – The University of Maine men’s hockey team will kick off its 2005-06 season in the Icebreaker Tournament on Oct. 7-8 at Colorado College. The home opener will feature the 2004 and 2005 National Champion Denver for a two-game series on Oct. 14-15.

The team opens the season with a game against Air Force in the Icebreaker Tournament.

The Hockey East road schedule gets underway on Oct. 28 with a visit to Boston College and Massachusetts on Oct. 29. Maine will return to Florida over the Christmas break for the Florida College Classic.
